Don’t Let a Negative Mindset Affect You

You have 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts in 1 day and 90% of those are repeated.  Have you ever felt trapped in your thoughts?  Thinking and feeling and feeling and thinking can create unconscious memorized behaviors and if you don't change, you can end up in crises mode. 

Crises Mode aka suffocating anxiety, dark depression, the world is falling apart, your going to be all alone, there is no way to survive, no one will ever love you, you are worthless, there is no end to suffering?

So let me ask you ... are you stronger than your mind or does your mind control you?                     

Grab your journal... let's write.     

STEP #1: 
Write about a time in your life where you hit crises mode, a time that was the hardest time in your life!   What, Where, How, Who .... 

STEP #2: 
How did your mind exaggerate this terrible event to make this situation EVEN WORSE!?  What were your negative thoughts, what was your self-talk?  Did you feel alone, hopeless, worthless? 

STEP #3: 
What was the truth or the end result?  Did you survive, stay alone forever, or suffer indefinitely or did you come out alive with lessons learned and gratitude gained? 

Remind yourself in difficult times ... What is the TRUTH!?  And stop for a moment and ask yourself .... is my mind exaggerating this moment? 

I used to suffer from chronic stress, suffocating anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.  Now I know better to let my mind control me like that again.  I took my power back and so can you.  Here are some things to try when you are in negative moment.  

1- Set your Intention:  take a moment and broadcast your desires.  Place 1 hand on your head.
2- Open your Heart:  become a magnet to your desires by feeling the emotion of receiving your desires and express gratitude that they do exist in your timeline of life.  Place 1 hand on your heart.  
3.  Connect your Mind and Heart and sink into the feeling of all things connected.
4.  Breathe:  slowly and steadily take long deep breaths.  Feel alive again and feel your soul awaken with each renewing breath.
5.  Repeat after me. I exist. I am valid. I am enough and I will handle my experience with my heart not just my mind.
