It's not as if she waved a magic wand over me and fixed everything.You have to engage in your own self improvement if you want results. You get what you put in. It also means you have to stretch and bend in ways that are not comfortable. I'm not speaking physically.
Our minds can become as rigid and stiff as our bodies if they are not pushed beyond our comfort zone. Have to be willing to admit things you don't want to admit about yourself, willing to see things about yourself that you don't want to see, willing to love things that you dont see as lovable, and willing to take different actions in order to create a different result.
Transformation can only happen under these circumstances.Your mind and your body are not separate. I have become very clear about this and so, I will never be ignoring and neglecting my body again the way that I have the last 10 years. I feel almost as if the increased flexibility and strength in my body has transferred to my brain and it is more open and receptive. No my body has not reached its goal. No i haven't fit back into my coveted jeans yet, but i see the finish line now. I'm no longer obsessed with arriving there. I'm eager to! But it's ok. I feel better in my skin right now than I have in awhile. Just the very act of practicing self-care everyday has helped me to love myself better. I see the value in caring for the body That I've been blessed me with for the duration of this life.
